| Well I should be getting promoted tomorrow. I've got this feeling that I'm not going to be though. There is another change of command ceremony tomorrow and everyone checks out on leave tomorrow so I kinda think that I might get skipped over. I sure hope not though. I really want to get pinned. I'm a little tired of waiting. I'm also really broke. I strecthed myself a little too far going home this past weekend and I racked up 5 over draft charges at $20 a pop, so needless to say I'm way into the negitaves and I've got bills to pay, so I probably won't be doin much for a while. Oh, well. That's the way my life seems to work. | | |
| Well it's finally happening. I'm pickin up. Just checked the score and it's a 1610 to pick up and I've got a 1619, so Devil, I'm getting promoted to a Cpl of Marines, Ooorah! I've been waiting forever it seems, to achieve this. I'm quite happy. Excited actually. It's a good day. Very good. | | |
| So my battalion is now officially back from Ramadi, Iraq. Alpha and Bravo companies came in on Thu, and Weapons Co, H&S Co, and Charlie Co all came in on Sat. So everyone is back now. I'm not really sure what we'll be doin for the next few weeks, but it's about to start changing. I'm still waiting for the cutting score to come out so I can find out if I'm pickin up or not in Jun. Ooooooooh, it's so hard waiting! | | |
| So this is my angry post. I feel like absolute shit. My throat is so sore it hurts to swallow. Alot. I think I'm developing a cough. Basically I think that my body hates this place, and is trying to tell me so. Well anyways I'm hoping that I'll get better soon or it'll be a really really shitty week. The battalion starts getting back on Thu and one company per day till like Tue so if I don't feel anybetter I'll just feel horrible as hell. That would be a extremely shitty week.
